Guests consistently appreciate the hotel's convenient location, finding it easy to walk to attractions like Princes Street and close to the train station and tram stop, making Leith and The Shore easily accessible. Many rooms are considered spacious and modern, some even offering views of Calton Hill, a Nespresso machine and a stocked mini-fridge. While generally well-regarded, a few guests have noted issues with room readiness upon arrival or minor maintenance needs with the coffee machines during breakfast.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
weak showerfrosted glass
I found the shower pressure to be quite weak. It was barely a dribble. Another issue I encountered was the frosted glass on the bathroom door and part of the wall. It did not close fully, leaving a noticeable gap. This impacted privacy quite a lot, NOT ideal.
I found the hotel clean and well kept. My room included a stocked mini-fridge and a Nespresso machine. The staff offered recommendations on local attractions and directions. The hotel's proximity to the train station made transportation convenient.
The shower lacked sufficient water pressure. This was a slight inconvenience.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast service presented numerous options and the restaurant displayed tasteful décor. Fresh fruit salads featured diverse ingredients and the overall presentation looked quite attractive. A very satisfying morning start.
Rooms
9/10
The room design presented modern contemporary elements and a comfortable bed. I also appreciated the availability of twin bedroom options. Ample closet space with sufficient hangers allowed for proper organization.
Facilities
10/10
The hotel's prime location provides easy access to several key attractions and amenities. St James Quarter Mall, Calton Hill, and Princes Street are a short distance away. I found this accessibility a valuable asset.
